FAQ for eZCall
1. What is eZcall?
With eZcall, you can make ZVRS
and point-to-point calls directly from a web page on your
computer.
2. Which Internet browers support eZcall?
• Firefox
• Chrome
• Safari
• Internet Explorer (version 9 and 10 only)
3. Will eZcall work on both Macs and PCs?
Yes.
4. Will eZcall work on my mobile device?
No.
5. Is eZcall free to download?
Yes. However, you will need to make sure you already have
Z5—also free—downloaded on your computer for it to work.
6. How do I download eZcall?
Go online to www.zvrs.com/services/features/ezcall and click the
“Download eZcall” button.
7. Can I set eZcall as my default?
Yes. You need to make sure the eZcall extension is the
only one enabled. If you already have other extensions enabled—such as
Skype—you will need to disable that extension in order for eZcall to work
properly. If you are not sure how to do that, contact Z Customer Care by email at
help@zvrs.com or call them at 866.932.7891.
8. How do I know which phone numbers will work with eZcall?
Once eZcall is enabled, the phone numbers on the web page will appear white on a solid blue background. Simply place your cursor on the phone number and click. Z5 Desktop will pop up on your computer, ready to proceed with your call.
9. Will alphanumeric phone numbers (such as 1-800-MY-APPLE) work with eZcall?
No. Only phone numbers that are completely numeric will work with eZcall.
10. How do I enable or disable eZcall?
