This Privacy Policy does not protect you when you send business information, ideas, concepts, inventions, or other intellectual property by e-mail or other means to ZVRS. If you want to keep confidential any business information, ideas, concepts, inventions, or other intellectual property, do not send them to ZVRS.

Protecting Personal Information from Children

To the extent ZVRS is able to determine the age of users by their submission to, or communications with, ZVRS’ website or its agents, ZVRS will not knowingly collect or post information from individuals under the age of eighteen (18) without parent or legal guardian consent.

When providing VRS products and services over an internet connection, ZVRS may collect and store information about: 1) information necessary to complete or receive a call, including information about who your child is calling or who is calling your child; 2) the length of each call, for accounting purposes; 3) your child’s contact, to allow your child to maintain a contact list; and 4) your child’s location, if you consent to your child’s use of location-enable services. ZVRS does not disclose this information to third parties.

In any instance registration is required on ZVRS’ website, and a user submits information which indicates that such user is an individual under the age of eighteen, the individual’s parents or legal guardian will receive an e-mail alerting them to the child’s registration. The e-mail will contain instructions on how the parent or legal guardian can delete the individual’s registration/profile, if so desired. Alternately, ZVRS requires visual verification of the parent or guardian’s approval of the individual’s registration through a live videophone call with Customer Service. It is during this verification process that a government-issued form of photo identification is required.

You have the right to ask ZVRS to allow you to review information ZVRS has collected about your child, to stop collecting personal information about your minor child, or to delete information it has on file about your minor child at any time. If your child is under the age of 13, ZVRS is legally required to comply with that request. If your child is between the ages of 13 and 18, ZVRS will voluntarily honor your request.

Security of Personal Information

ZVRS is committed to securing your personal information. ZVRS has implemented various security measures, including physical security and logical access measures, to protect your personal information. Periodic reviews of ZVRS’ policies occur that affect data collection, storage and processing with implementation of additional security features when appropriate. ZVRS also restricts access to your personal information to its employees, contractors and agents, who require access to your personal information to perform services on ZVRS’ behalf. Such individuals are, too, subject to ZVRS’ privacy and confidentiality obligations.

Updating or Deleting Your Personal Information

You can always contact us in order to (1) delete your Personal Information from our systems, (2) update the Personal Information that you have provided to us, or (3) change your preferences with respect to marketing contacts or other activities, by emailing us at help@ZVRS.com. We will make good faith efforts to accommodate such requests, unless such information is needed to comply with valid legal requirements or to protect the rights, property or safety of ZVRS, our employees or users, to the public. In your request, please provide your name, email address or other contact information, and describe the information requested to be accessed, corrected, or removed in any such request. We may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or complicated, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical. Because of the way we maintain certain services, including backup systems, even after we delete your information, copies may remain on our servers and systems for a period of time before being deleted. Any requested changes will not have any effect on other information that ZVRS maintains.
