Sherri Turpin – Chief Executive Officer

Sherri Turpin comes to us from Earthlink, which she joined in 2011 as Vice President of channel strategy, before moving up to Vice President of channel sales in 2014. In 2015, Sherri was selected for “The Channel Company’s 2015 CRN@ Women of the Channel”, which honors outstanding female executives across channel organizations.

Stacey Wagner

Stacy Wagner – Chief Financial Officer

Wagner received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida Southern College and is a certified public accountant. She was the CFO and treasurer of Oerlikon USA, Inc. for over 14 years before joining ZVRS. Prior to her work at Oerlikon, Wagner had over six years of audit and tax experience in diverse industries with public accounting firms, including the “Big Four.”

Timothy Rarus – Senior Vice President, Marketing

Rarus began his career in 1989 working for Sen. John McCain in Washington, D.C. after receiving a bachelor’s degree in government from Gallaudet University. He later relocated to Overland Park, Kan., where he became the assistant director of Gallaudet University Regional Center for the Midwestern Region. Rarus then moved to Austin, Texas to serve as executive director of Vaughn House, Inc. In 1997, he joined the Communication Service for the Deaf (CSD) Austin office, focusing his efforts on interpreting and captioning issues in the Austin area and playing a key role in the development of CSD’s video interpreting department from the beginning.

Chris Wagner

Chris Wagner – Senior Vice President,
Business Operations and Sales

Prior to assuming his current role, Wagner served as both a consultant and executive director of The Community Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing of Manatee and Sarasota Counties and Deaf and Hard of Hearing Service of Florida Pasco and Hernando Counties. With a bachelor’s degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and a background in healthcare administration, he was responsible for the implementation of the first assisted living facility and nursing facility for the deaf and hard of hearing in Florida. Largely responsible for the creation of the Florida Coordinating Council for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Wagner was appointed by Gov. Jeb Bush as the first member and chairperson. He also has served or continues to serve on numerous boards, including stints as president of Florida Association of the Deaf, Inc.; vice president of the National Association of the Deaf; and member of the Board of Trustees of the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind, among others.

Aaron Wegehaupt

Aaron Wegehaupt – Vice President, Operations

After working in the telecommunications relay service, Wegehaupt has been involved in the video relay service industry since its inception over six years ago. He has over 13 years of experience as an interpreting professional in legal, educational, corporate and community settings; holds NAD V (Master) level certification; and is a member of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. Along with his work as an interpreter, Wegehaupt has also contributed to the profession in several other capacities, including a stint as an adjunct professor and chairperson of an interpreter training program in Sioux Falls, S.D. and serving on boards of professional interpreting organizations in South Dakota. In 2004, he was named one of the finalists for the 2004 Summit Award for “Workforce Manager of the Year,” sponsored by the Society of Workforce Planning Professionals.

William Cobb

William Cobb – General Manager, Stratus Video

Cobb received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Alfred University and has been at the forefront of telecommunications technology during his 23-year career, gaining in-depth knowledge on developing, launching and supporting data communications products. He has held various positions in product development, technical support and sales management throughout his career, working at both large telephone companies—including Sprint—and several start-ups. Cobb aided the development of the first nationwide financial transaction processing network in the ’80s, the first wireless data product using the cellular network in the early ’90s and, over the last 11 years, has been a pioneer in the development and advancement of DSL technology. He brings a unique set of technical, product, business development and senior management skills to ZVRS.

Phil Bravin

Philip W. Bravin – Vice President,
Business Development and Outreach

Bravin previously worked at Communication Service for the Deaf (CSD), where he helped pioneer the development of CSD’s video relay service and worked on cutting edge developments in communications technologies for deaf and hard of hearing people. Prior to joining CSD, he was president of Yes You Can, Inc., a consulting organization specializing in enabling people with the latest technological advancements. He previously served as president and chief executive officer of the National Captioning Institute and worked for IBM for nearly 25 years in a variety of technical, management and marketing positions. Bravin holds a bachelor’s degree from Gallaudet University and has done graduate work at Union College and the University of Hartford. He served on Gallaudet University Board of Trustees for over 20 years, serving as chairman from 1988–1994. Bravin currently serves as president for Lexington School and Center for the Deaf Board of Directors.

Lydia Runnels

Lydia Runnels – Vice President,
Product Development and Engineering

Runnels has over 25 years of experience within product development, leading initiatives in voice, video and data communications. She leads a diverse, talented team which is responsible for development of product innovations and feature enhancements, as well as growing the IT infrastructure and maintaining it 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Prior to joining ZVRS, Runnels was vice president of research and development at Paradyne Networks, where she led a team of over 200 engineers. She earned her computer engineering degree from the University of South Florida before spending over 20 years with AT&T Bell Labs and Paradyne.
