CLEARWATER, Fla. [December 18, 2009] – The Z™ announced today that John Austin will take on a new role as sales manager for Florida, effective Jan. 1. Austin will be responsible for introducing Z products and services to Floridians, as well as working closely with existing customers.
“John came to us with much enthusiasm,” said Michael Finneran, senior director of sales. “This, along with his experience as a business owner, will be an asset to The Z™.”
Austin entered the video relay service industry as an installer and trainer with Sorenson Communications. In 2006, he relocated to the Tampa area to start an eBay business, which operated for three years until he joined The Z™ earlier this year as part of its telesales program.
“With John’s energy and initiative in bringing the very best to The Z™, I know that the region he serves will benefit greatly,” said Tim Rarus, senior vice president of sales. “His knowledge and experience will ensure that people get to see firsthand what top-quality services and products our company offers.”
