Description:
The Technical Coordinator is responsible for technically supporting our Interpreters, the call centers and Customer Care. This includes working closely with center managers as well as the VI operations management to ensure the call centers and at home agents have what they need to be successful. As System Administrator responsibilities include providing technical support to Customer Care and BVS. Perform analysis of problems and assist with corrective action to restore functionality and avoid recurrence. Responsible for providing data and recommendations to the development engineers on problems and enhancements necessary to continue to grow market share.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions and Skills:
• A solid understanding of video, network computing and administration of servers, switches, routers, and firewalls.
• TCP/IP networking, security, SIP, and H.323
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues related to the network infrastructure, videophones, video quality and network connectivity issues.
• Windows, Windows server, and imaging
• Provide technical support to interpreters, sales, BVS and customer care regarding any problems with network connectivity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills ability to collaborate with the Development team and other departments in solving technical issues.
• Ability to travel across the United States.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent experience.
• Cisco CCN certification
• 4 plus years’ experience in System/Network Administration and Technical support.
